How to Use Rivo

Step 1

Ensure your skin has been cleansed and is free of makeup.

Step 2

Tap the power button located at the front of the facial steamer to turn on and tap again to cycle through the treatment settings.

Step 3

Turn on the 360-degree nozzle rotation feature by tapping the button underneath the power button.

Step 4

Adjust the position of your face to a distance that’s most comfortable for you.

How often should I use RIVO?

Use once or twice a week as part of your skincare routine. After a facial steam session on the Rivo, cleanse your skin once more and apply your favourite serums, moisturizer, or face mask for best results!

How big is the RIVO, and how heavy is it?

Rivo measures 23.5 L x 13.8 W x 22 H cm, and weighs 1130 grams (2.5 lbs).

Do I need to use all 6 treatment settings, and how do I rotate the nozzle on RIVO?

No, you can switch between the different settings depending on how much time you want to spend using Rivo, your skin concern, the season (eg, dry skin in winter) and your desired experience. To use the 360-degree nozzle rotation feature, tap the rotate button (located below the power button). To stop the rotation, tap the same button. Do not try and manually move the nozzle as this may break it.

What products can I add to RIVO's essential oil basket?

Only water-soluble essential oils work best with the Rivo, as the oils dissolve with the water, thus producing more gentle and effective results. Pure essential oils will float on the water’s surface in concentrated droplets. Only use oils that are safe around eyes and skin.

Aside from water-soluble essential oils, you may put dried flowers, dried fruits, or tea (loose or in bags) instead into the aromatherapy/ essential oil basket before powering on the machine. Do not open the basket while the Rivo is turned on or being used. You can check out our collection of Aroma water-soluble essential oils.

Tip: If you are interested to use dried fruits, you can slice oranges, lemons or limes and dry them out by using a dehydrating machine or a household oven. Or, dry out slices, or dehydrate the peels naturally in the sun. You can refer to this article for aromatherapy recipes.

Is RIVO BPA-free?

"BPA-free" labels on plastic bottles or water tanks serve as a reassurance that the product is safe to drink out of, but this facial steamer machine is not for that purpose. The Rivo Nano Facial Steamer is in compliance with CE standard, which indicates conformity with health, safety, and environmental protection standards for products.
