How to Use Mica

Step 1

Plug Mica into a reliable power source to enjoy up to 10 hours of cordless use

Step 2

When mirror's open, press the power button to cycle through the three light settings.

Step 3

Press and hold the power button to dim or brighten the light in any setting.

Step 4

When mirror's closed, press the power button to enable/disable wireless charging. Place your phone onto Mica to charge.

How big is the Mica, and how heavy is it?

Mica measures 5.0" (127mm) long by 3.8" (96.52mm) wide, weighs 275 grams (9.7 ounces) and is slim (0.9" / 22.86mm thick) to fit into any purse, handbag, or belt bag.

How is the Mica powered and can it charge other devices?

Mica is rechargeable and doesn't require disposable batteries. To charge your Mica, please use the provided USB-C cord and connect it to a power source. The battery takes approximately 3 hours to fully charge. Charge the Mica when blue light beside the port blinks. Mica glows while charging and the light auto turns off when it is fully charged.

Mica can be used as a power bank to charge your devices when they are low in power. A power bank is a portable charger designed to recharge your electronic devices when you're on the move.

For wireless charging, place your device facing upward and directly on top of Mica. Push the power button once to enable wireless charging (indicated by the blue light appearing next to the USB port). This only works if your device has Qi wireless charging capability.

For wired charging, use the provided USB-C to USB-C cable (with a USB-A adapter) or an alternate cable that connects to your device specifically.

Pro Tip: When your Mica is plugged into a power source to charge, you can charge your devices at the same time, aka charge in tandem.

How long does the MICA last after a full charge?

Depends on your usage. If you're using continuously on the brightest setting, it will last up to 3 hours. While on the dimmest light setting, it will last up to 10 hours. The auto shut-off feature helps to conserve energy. If you're using Mica to charge your devices, this will use some of the power, and thereby impact its duration.

What is the difference between the Mica and Taylor/ Mila?

The key difference is that Mica can be used as a power bank to charge your devices (i.e. phone, tablet) on the go. Mica has a rectangular shaped mirror, while the others are more round. Taylor measures the biggest in size, Mica being in the middle, and Mila is the smallest in our compact mirror collection. Mica and Taylor come with 3 dimmable light settings, while Mila has only one light setting (natural daylight).

What devices can Mica charge? How do I know if my device supports wireless charging?

Mica is equipped with a 5000mAh power bank. In general, it can fully charge your smartphone once (wired or wireless), or it can partially charge your tablet once (wired only).

Mica supports wireless charging on all Qi compatible wireless charging devices. Please check your device's user's manual to see if it is Qi enabled.

How do I use the USB-C to USB-C cable with USB-A adapter that's included?

The included cable is USB-C on both ends. However, a USB-A adapter is also provided, which lets you connect devices that use a USB-A plug (common in standard USB devices). Simply plug the adapter into the USB-C port to turn it into a USB-A port, and you're ready to connect to your older devices.
