#1 Put some base into it

#4 Do some fine-tuning

Trying to be picture perfect comes with a set of challenges that can easily be fixed by color correcting your imperfections while contouring and highlighting your features. Remember opposite colors cancel each other out, neutralizing discolorations and hiding imperfections. So, if you want to get rid of redness on your face, apply a green colored corrector and if those dark circles want to make an appearance put them to shame with an orange coloured corrector.

Another tip in achieving a chiseled look is using contour to create shadows in your cheekbones, slim down your nose or enhance the shape of your eyes. Use  highlighter to make your lips look more prominent or give your brows a lifting effect by highlighting just above the brow.

One small tip into getting the perfect wing to your eyeliner is to place a small piece of sticky tape slanted from the outer corner of your eye up to the tail end of your eyebrow. Then follow this as a guide when applying your liner for the most perfectly angled wing! - et voila, your razor sharp winged liner is complete!
